BOYS’ CRICKET LEAGUE.
The management committee of the Wellington Boys’ Cricket League met , last night at tho V.M.C.A., Mr W. Walton presiding. It was decided to etart _the championship matches on the 28th Instant, entries to close on the 24th instant, A good season is anticipated, as already numerous clubs have entered. 'The secretary lias been instructed to apply to the City Council for nine pitches for the boys on. the city reserves. It was also decided to call a delegates' meeting for next Tuesday, when several notices. of motion are .to he brought np. As tho league is endeavouring to foster cricket, and being a ’'nursery” of cricket, as it were, the secretary; would he glad to hear of as many chibs ao possible.
