HOUSE DESTROYED.

PBES3 ASSOCIATION. BLENHEIM, September 23. About 4 o’clock this morning a sixroomed house in Maxwell road, owned by Mr R. McCallum and occupied by Mr-E. S. Hylton, secretary of the Marlborough Education Board, "was totally destroyed by fire. The inmates got out just in time, saving nothing except their clothes. The house was insured for X4OO in the- New Zealand office and the furniture for .£250 in the South British.
