OUTRAGE BY BLACKS
ATTACK ON A POLICE PARTY. By Telegraph—Frees Association—Copyright. (Received August 4, 9.55 p.m.) PERTH, August 4. The Commissioner of Police has received a vaguely-worded telegram indicating that a police party had been attacked by blacks at Charnley River, and that five trackers were lost and three horses speared.
