MASTERTON MYSTERY
KINGDON’S DISAPPEARANCE SEARCH PARTIES ORGANISED FOR TO-MORROW. SPECIAL TO THE “TIMES.** MASTERTON, August 4. No trace has yet been found of tho missing man James Kingdon. A systematic search of the whole town and district is to be made on Sunday by a largo party of residents. All sorts of wild rumours are still being circulated concerning Kingdon. This morning it was stated that his body had been found in a well, and when it was ascertained this afternoon that a cap had been found on the banks of the Waingawa river the story was immediately circulated that ho had been found in the river. Needless to say, therfa was not the slightest grounds for these statements. Two detectives V have arrived from Wellington to investigate tho matter-
