Lord Brassoy called attention in tho House of Lords to tho recent sales of armoured ships and to tho fact that there aro insufficient cruisers in reserve for distant stations. Lord Granard denied that the Admiralty had any objection to selling ships to tho dominions, but doubted the wisdom of selling them old cruisers. Ho said it would bo bottor to build up-to-dato vessels for them.
