WELLINGTON CENTRAL
MR B. FLETCHER’S CANDIDATURE.
There was a large and representative meeting of Mr Robert Hatcher s supporters for the Wellington Central seat m the Druid’s Hall, Taranaki street, last night. Appreciative references were made by sneakers regarding the candidate’s pubbo services, and to the great interest he had always shown in the city’s welfare, both as a City Councillor and chairman of the Harbour Board. Mr Charles Foster was elected chairman of the general committee. A strong committee of ladies is being formed. Mr J. M. Grant (P.O. Bos S2B) was appointed secretary.
