H.M. Canadian ship Niohc, which went ashore on the coast of Nova Scotia, was refloated on Sunday. Her hull is pierced in several places. She grounded during a heavy fog. A number of sailors who were missing have rejoined the ship safely. One boat was wrecked, but tho other rescued her men.

Whin the cruiser struck the position was considered so desperate, that the captain ordered all boats to he ready. The two which were missing departed before the order was countermanded. The Niobo will be docked to ascertain the extent of tho damage.
