BOY DIES FROM BURNS
PEESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, August 1. ' The four-year-old son of Mr Thomas Hay, of Richmond road. Mount Albert, has died in hospital as the result of burns. Tho boy’s mother found him ■enveloped in flames, his clothes having evidently caught fire while she was outside tho house. She took prompt measures to extinguish the flames, but the bums wore so serious that nothing could avert a fatal result.
