MISSING A TRAIN
Tho 6.55 a.m. tram from Wallace street, which is run to catch the 7.9 a.m. train to the Lower Ilutt, was delayed at Post Office square yesterday morning, the result being that thirteen passengers, the majority of whom are employed at the Peton-e Workshops, lost the train. The men were very annoyed, as it meant the loss of a day's pay. They waited on the Mayor (Mr T. •M. Wilibrd, M.P.) later in th 4 day. and told him of the occurrence, with the result that orders have rbeen issued’ that the car must leave the Wallace street terminus at 6.32 n-m. in future.
