CUSTOMHOUSE QUAY TRAM EXTENSION.
The work of extending the tramway track from the Bank of New Zealand oor* ncr along Customhouse quay to Post Office square will be completed to-day as far aa the permanent way is concerned. The over* 1 lead gear is being put up, and in a few days' time the trams from Brooklyn and Aro street should be running to. the new terminus at Post Office square.
