' The evidence on behalf of tho employers lias been concluded before tho Commission of Inquiry into the alleged sltorta-ge of labour, and tho case for tho employees has opened. The first wdtness, a glass-blower, flatly denied the- masters’ evidence, declaring that he had lost time during tho past year through slackness of trade.
