GENERAL FORECAST FOR TO-DAY. (By tha Government Ifcteorolotriet.) Present indications (5 p.m. Monday) are for a slight rise in barometric pressure, preceding a further fall. Fair weather is probable generally, though hazy and unsettled at times in many parts of the country, and especially on the west coast and southern districts of the South Island.
