A DRUNKARD’S REVENGE
DISMISSED RAILWAY CLERK EXRES TIMBER STACKS. DAMAGE CAUSED, £50,000. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received July 30, 5.5 pan.) VIENNA, July 29. A clerk named Sohottek, who had been dismissed for drunkenness, in revengo fired the timber stacks at the Northern railway station. A huge conflagration ensued. Sis hundred firemen, 3000 police and 2000 railway men fought the flames for eighteen hours and prevented them from igniting a warehouse wherein 2000 tons of benzine .were stored. Schottok has been arrested.
Timber to the value of £50,000 was destroyed.
