But he woulc remind the House that since it adjonrnod tho previous day one of its members ad passed away. He did not wish for a moment to stiilo debate or prevent discussion on this occasion, but he hoped that the debate on tho Bill would be limited as much as possible so that the House could pass without delay to consideration of a motion respecting, the deceased member and do honour as much as possible to his memory. The acting-Prime Minister said ho was very • pleased to hear what Mr Massey had to say. Eo had consulted with him on the matter and they had agreed that some such arrangement should bo observed.
