The ladies of the Hutt Golf Club, despite adverse ground conditions, hold a comiietitkm cm Wednesday laid; counting for tho Ladles' Golf Union (senior and junior) modal handicap oliampionshlps. The best score in oaoh grade was as follow: Seniors.—Mrs Murphy 86. 15, 81. Juniors.— lUos Eathbone—l2s. 50. 73. On Wednesday night the first round of tho senior and junior clnb championship Will bo played, and on Thursday a team of seniors and juniors will meet a liko "loam from the Wellington Club.
