PEESB / BSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, July 13. A meeting of the Di./n—in Centre of the New Zeaiaud Amateur Athletic Association was held On the motion of Mr Divers it was resolved “that it is the opinion of this meeting that the time has now arrived when New Zealand should be recognised as a separate country on the international Olympic committee." It was decided to forward a copy of the resolution to Wellington, Canterbury, Auckland and Southland centres, and that their cooperation be asked for ; . Iso tuat the boxing, lawn tennis, swimming- and rowing associations be wiitten to and asked to receive deputations ou the matter.
