annual meeting. Tho annual meeting of the Presbyterian Orphanage and Social Service Association, held on Tuesday evening in St. John's schoolroom, Lnxon street, was largely attonued, the Rev. Dr G/nb presiding. The report showed that there were at present twenty-eight chi.drcn (fourteen of each sex) at the Waterloo avenue ixomo, Newtown. Sixteen. children have been admitted during the year, seven have le.t, and altogether, since the founding of the orphanage, forty-three children have passed through.
