JSOil CUB OWN COUEKSPONDBNT PALMERSTON, July 12. The Palmerston North Liedortaicl gave its seventh concert last night in the (Opera House to a very largo audience. Air U.-* E. Gunter conducted, and accompanied the soloists, Miss Stanley Belt noting as accompanist to the LiccKriafei jiteins. Aliss ALay ‘Newman sang Weber’s "Prauo Prauo," from "Der Fnesclv.iAz," land Alias Nellie Simpson played two flute eutos. The Eov. to. H. Kosher also contributed two solos. Some of the Liederttafel items were "Excelsior," '‘Twilight/' land "March of the Men of Harlech." A pretty wedding was celebrated at All •Stunts' Church this afternoon, when Air William Anderson, third son of Air Anderson, of Fitzherbert East, was married ko Miss Etty Isabel Lancaster, eldest (daughter of Air S. R. Lancaster, of Aokautoro. 'Die bride was given away by her father, and was attired in a pretty .■cream silk radiants, dress trimmed with [silk lace and pearl trimmings. The chief (bridesmaid was Alias Jessie Lancaster ((cousin of the bride), who wore a cream fcaslimore dress trimmed with cream lace insertion and corded silk. The other two Lrid os maids were Alisses Aliriom and May Lancaster, sisters of the bride. Air {Hugh Lancaster acted as bfst man.
