MAORI LAND SETTLEMENT
The Aotea District Maori Land Board has a- large quantity of Maori land under survey. to bo placed on the market at an early date. It recently disposed of fifty suburban sections at Ohakunc at con si dorablv above tho ur-sefc price. On July 12th tho Tokcrau ( Auckland) Maori Land Board will offer tho right to cut about nine million feet of timber, and the same board will offer for sal© some 15.0C0 acres and 13,5C0 acres for lease- About the mid-cllo of August tho Tokerau Board will probably offer on lease an area of 23.000 acres of Maori land, and milling rights over 12.000 acres. The Waikato-Mandopoto Board is dealing with 52.000 acres of land, for which tenders close the middle of August; 14,000 acres will be offered for sale and 13,003 acres for lease.
