HARRIERS
The ■Wellington and Brooklyn Harriers’ Clubs held a combined rim from Bellevue Gardens, Lower Itutt. on Saturday with a muster of forty-three. An excellent cross-country trail was laid by C. W. Bennett, P. Wilton,Farrington, A. S. Oliver and C. Lemberg. Beames, a young member of the Brooklyn Club, had the misfortune to sprain his ankle during the afternoon. A good Samaritan arrived, and ho finished tho journey in a motor car. A run in over the last three-quarters of a milo was won by F. Wilton, V. Bryne second, and C. Bowberry third. Next .Saturday tho Wellington Harriers start from the Thorndon Baths.
