Premier), Sir Joseph Ward (New Zealand), and Sir Edward Morris (Newfoundland) have received the Freedom of the City of Glasgow. The degree of Doctor of Laws has been conferred by Glasgow University on Lord Kitchener, Sir Joseph Ward, and Sir Edward Morris.
