SPEECH AT WAIMATB. PEESa ASSOCIATION. WAIMATE, May 20. Mr Massey delivered a . political ad dress here this evening to a large audience, and met with a good reception. He spoke for two hours. He condemned the land policy and finance of the Government, dealing with the subjects at considerable length, particularly in regard to methods of public expenditure. He touched on industrial matters and the independence of the bench, and condemned in strong terms the Tammanyism which he alleged existed in the Government of the country. He was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his address.
