THEFT OF CATTLE
PRESS ASSOCIATION. DARGAVILLB. May 24. At the Magistrate’s Court to-dav Rua Were, a native, of Tangiteroria, pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing and shooting eleven calves, tho property of Will C. Price. He was committed to tho Supreme Court for sentence. ■ Hone Taka, of the same locality, was committed for trial on a charge of stealing bullocks valued at AS, tho property of Henry Moyle.
