DUCHY OF LANCASTER
The clear revenue from the Duchy of Lancaster last year was *£61,000. exactly the same as in 1909. Last year ,£43,000 went to the executors of King Edward, and £21,000 to King George's privy purse. Despite an increase in the ontlay from .£19,500 to £23,500 for the benefit of the Dnohy of Cornwall estate, which is now the sole income of the Prince of Wales, the clear revenue has grown greatly. In 1901 it yielded about £72,000; in 1909, £87,000: and last year. £92,000. Of that sum, £67,000 was paid to King George for the period January Ist to May 6th (when King Edward died), and £25,000 to the present Prince of Wales.
