ACCOMMODATION FOR JURORS
When waiting jurors were discharged froan further attendance at the Supreme Court, on Saturday morning complaint was made on their behalf by Mr H. C. Tewsler that no accommodation in the way of a waiting room was provided for them in the court building. Ho said that during the cold and wet weather that had been experienced throughout the week jurors had no place to leave their umbrellas and overcoats. It Burned to them that some accommodation should b© provided, more especially when it was considered that frequently they Aver© only relieved from attendance for half an hour and could not well get away from the court. If there was only some place where jurors could sit down and do business it would be a verygreat convenience. The Chief Justice said he quite agreed with this, and there was a room upstairs which he thought should bo given to the jurors. He would so© that the matter was attended to.
