BROOKLYN HARRIERS

The Brooklyn Harriers held their weekly run from Thorndon baths on Saturday afternoon, the hares for the day being P. Wilton and H. Barnes. The pack was under the control of J. Don. The course led from the baths along the Hutt road to Nghauranga and up the gorge for about a mile, then up the hill and along the hill-topa back till Wadestown was reached. On reaching Wadestown the pack was divided into three teams for a teams race home—tho A, B, and 0 teams, five men in each. C. Murray was in charge of tho A team, F. Byrne the B team, and E. A. Shaw the C team. The race home of about a mile and a half resulted in an easy win for the 0 team, the A and B teams being a dead heat for second place.
