MAGISTRATE’S COURT
Five first-offending:' inebriates were convicted and discharged by Mr W. G. Riddell. S.M.. at the Magistrates Court on Saturday. One who did not appear was fined 10s, in default 24 hours imprisonment. Michael Collins was fined for drunkenness 20s, in default seven davs* imprisonment. , _ Maurice Stacey, a steward off the lonic, for using obscene language at the Opera House, was fined £3, in default fourteen days' imprisonment. One witness's expenses (4s) were ordered to be paid. •
