REQUEST TO MAKE FLOGGING .COMPULSORY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright PERTH, December A deputation representing the Women's Christian Temperance Union asked the State Premier, Mr Wilson, to introduce legislation making flogging compulsory in oases of assault on girls under age. ■The Premier replied that it was doubtful whether .flogging would attain the end in view. Cabinet would consider the question.
