(To the Editor "N.Z. Times.’’) . Sir,—l would like to call the attention of the tram manager to the fact that the tram service ’ .to the Thorn-don - station- is somehow timed to miss, the, mail .trains by about a minute. That was so this morning, as X missed the New Plymouth mail by about one minute ior less. I do not think it would entail any further, expense in the cost of running the tram, by arranging as I suggest. All the mail trains start from the Thorndon stations and also arrive there. ‘I think the tram authorities should show a little more consideration to the travelling publio leaving and arriving by the mail trains. There are only, I should think, about two trams for Thorndon as against about forty for Lambton station, which has not got any mail train leaving.—l am, etc., J. B. STANSEUL, Senr. ' December Ist,
