EIFI/E 01/OB PEIZEB. The Eastbourne Eiflo Club's prizes worn presented at a social' gathering held on Saturday night. . The Mayor, Mr. H. W. Shortt, occupied the chair. In a musicoi programme items were contributed by Mrs Chapman, Misses Carte, Elsie Eoes, Samson, and Mr Bengo. Mr J. Barr presented Miss Meyer, .' on behalf of Mrs Croft, with the first-car-tridge fired ou the WUford range. This was mountad in go-id, in the form of a brooch, the gift of Mr. J. "Vigor Brown, M.P., of Napier. Mrs Bay was presented with a lady's bracelet, • won for her by Mr Exley. The following prizes were presented by Mrs Barr, Mr and Mrs Shortt, and th 3 club president.—Championship gold medal, President W. Hobbs, value £3; second, trophies value £2, E.' McGuire; silver cup, value £2 10s, first in B Class. J. Croft;trophy value 335, 2nd in B Class, J. Dixon; Mr D. Eobortson's prize, T. ■J. Chapman; Mr S. J Eoss's trophy, W. Hobbs;. Mrs Croft's gold medal, H...'W. Shortt; Mr E. Hell's. trophy, A Fraser; Mr Cameron's trophy, J. Croft; Mr Skerrett'a trophv, A. E. Exloy; club trophy, E. Kells; ,fr Naismith'e trophy, E. It was decided to secure a championship shield, to remain the property of the club, the winner each year to receive a gold modal and have his name inscribed on tho shield. Eifleman E. The club congratulated th< ladies' committee irpon its services in con< nsct-on with tho decorations and supper, and thanked the donors for prizes.
