WELLINGTON CLUB. The largest competition yet held in Wellington took place on Saturday for the Mac Neil prize, mixed foursomes, under the auspices of the ' Wellington Club. Hales and Mrs Collins and Mrs Hadfield. Clark and Miss Tolhurst beat Reid and Miss Brandon. M. Ross and Miss Kennedy beat W. Pearson and Mrs Biss. Brandon and Miss A. Pearce beat Kirkby and Mrs Abbott. Dr Tolhurst and Miss Rawlson beat Didsbury and Miss G. Ewan. Dr Webster and Miss G. Wilson beat George and Miss H. Miles. E. S. Pearce and Miss Pearce boat A. Duncan and Mrs Duncan. Hodson and Miss Tweed beat Turnbull and Mrs Elgar. G. Johnston and Miss Harcourt beat Higginson and Mrs . Turnbull. Fuseell and Mrs Freeth beat W. Bell and Miss M. Brandon. A. Mason, and Mrs Webster beat C. Pearce and Mrs Pearce. MIRAMAR GOLF CLUB. A mixed foursome competition will be played next -Saturday. Ladies' entries arc ■to be sent to Miss E. Gray, and men's to the hon. secretary's office, Panama. street, . before mid-da}' on Thursday. HUTT GOLF CLUB. The Riddiford Trophy was competed for by the lady players last Wednesday, and was won by Mrs J. T. Murphy, who finished ono down. Next Wednesday a foursome will be played for a trophy, presented by Mrs Collins. CORONATION MEDAL. FBESS ASSOCIATION PALMERSTON, May 23. Playing in the Coronation medal contest the three best scores put up on the Eokowhitu links yesterday were- Mrs L. A.’ Abraham 93, Mias Sybil-Abraham 93, Miss Wray 91.
