ESCAPED PRISONERS
POUCH SCOURING THE COUNTRY, PEBSS ASSOCIATION. ROTORUA, May 29. Two prisoners, Rees Nicholson and Arthur George Hellemen, escaped from Waipa on Saturday night. One of the escapees had only been in prison for about four weeks, and was convicted for house-breaking, and the other man. for arson. All the available police are scouring the country. A warder from Waipa is also in pursuit. The escapees took food and blankets with them.
