N.Z. BOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS
PBESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH. May 27. The Boxing Council has approved July 27th, 28th. and 29th. the dates selected by tho Manawatu Association for the New Zealand championships. A complaint from Southland concerning tlio-clashing ot dates of competitions iu various districts lias been submitted to the affiliated bodies, with the suggestion that tho council should bo informed of all dates selected for competitions. The Australian bodies interested have heen informed that September Ist 2nd, and 3rd are tho only ,dates available for the Australasian championships, as the agreement provides that competi- , tions must bo held in September.
