PBESS ASSOCIATION. DTTNEDIN. March 14. At tie Supreme Court to-day, Oscar Strangoby was sentenced to Bix months' imprisonment for breaking and entering and stealing. Martha Basan, for theft from dwellings, was sent to gaol for twelve months, and on a further oharge of housebreaking was ordered to be detained as an habitual criminal. GISBOENB, March 14. Mr Justice Cooper is presiding at the Supreme Court, which opened hero to-day. Joseph Henry Norcroes admitted having failed to keep proper books. He was remanded for sentence till the probation officer has reported.
