CHRISTCKTJItCH, February 17. The members of the Lyttelton detachment of Royal New Zealand Artillery, ■who are in camp at Fort Jervois for ten days, commenced their annual olass filing yesterday morning, and concluded shooting to-day. The results of the firing are not yet available. . .' Owing probably to the excessively hot weather o fthe past few days, the water supply at Fort Jervois has become defective, and the health of the men in camp has been affected, and it: is said that a number of them have been badly affected with dysentry. During the past two or three days, samples of the water from the tanks at the fort have been procured for analysis, for the purpose of detecting the cause of the trouble.
