In the chess . championship match between Emanuel Lasker, champion of the world, and Karl Schlecter, champion of Austria, tho eighth game was drawn. Schlecter will win if he draws two more' games. Of the eight games played to date, seven have resulted in a draw, and tho other game was won by Scblecter.
