SCHEME FOB REORGANISATION OF THE NAVY. A BIG PROGRAMME. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received February 7, 10.30 p.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, February 7. The Turkish' Cabinet has adopted the scheme for reorganisation of the navy drawn up by Admiral Gamble, who has just resigned the post of commander-in-chief for health reasons, after holding it for some time. The scheme provides for an expenditure of £T500,000 (a Turkish pound is equivalent to IBs in English money) annually for eight years in the oonstruotdom of two battleships, three cruisers and ton destroyers, most of which wiH bo built in Great Britain. The Sultan has subscribed £IOO,OOO to the National Naval Fund.'
