WEDDING
GOOD—GAPPEB. A very pretty wedding was celebrated yesterday at St. Mark’s Church, Sussex sqna?e, when Mr Frederick W. Good, of Devonshire, England, was married to Miss Blanche A. Gap per, of Wellington, formerly of Masterton. The, Bev. A. M Johns Sn. performed the marriage oercmomiy. Tjhe bride was givou, away by her : cousin, Mr P. Eookstrow, ana was gowned in .ivory.chiffon taffetas, draped with Honiton lace rand embroidered with silver. She wore a tulle veil, with ,orange blossoms, and carried, a bouquet of white roses. The ' bridesmaids were the Mieses Olive .Heckler (Mangamahoe), Nemmie Ga/pper (sister of tho bride) and I. Fanna, Miss Heckler was in cream and turquoise blue, with Maltese lace, and ■ carried a bouquet of cornflowers. Tho two little bridesmaids were, dressed In dainty white musUn frocks, and wore wreathe of forget-me-nots and carried baskets of pale blue flowers. The best man was Mr J.. T. Martin, of Kent, England. ; After (the ceremony a rooep-1 floa was held at No. 87, Ellice street. After the.' reception: Mr and Mrs Good left for Nelson, the bride travelling -in' a vicnx rose cloth frock with; hatto match. Mrs Gappor (the bride's mother) wore Mack silk, and amongst others ..present were Mrs Young (Waittaxa), in black silk, beautifully trimmed with lace, heliotrope hat and bouquet of same made; Mrs M. Cable, in wisteria doth, frock and lace ruffle: Mrs Savage, in a cream dress, heliotrope bat; Mrs A. Boar (Mastertonp, in a smart cream cloth coat and start with' black facings and.black hat; Mrs Dixon, in a reseda green costume, picture hat; Mra F. Bookstrow, in a white dress and pink hat; Mrs A. Hoar (Eketahuma), in cream; Mrs Faina, in a navy blue frock and heliotrope. hat; Miss M. Welch, in a white drees and white and blade hat; Mias K. Welch, in a white costume. Mack hat; Miss Burke, black and white, and Mrs A. Barker in brown. The wedding presents were very numerous, ,lnduding a handsome dock from the electrical department of the City Oouncd], of which Mr Good is. a member.
