MCOMMENDATTONS 01' rjNIVT.RSITY COMMITTEE. PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, January 27. At the meeting of the University Senate to-day the medical committee recommended alteration in the statute regarding "course of medicine" bv proriding that students should attend at least twelve midwifery cafes, at least four of them under proper supervision at a maternity hospital, and that they should attend a short course of demonstrations on elementary stomatology. A number of alterations wore also recommended in the dental course.
