METHODIST CONFERENCE
PBESS ASSOCIATION. TTMAETT, January 13. The annual conference of the Primitive Methodist Churclf.opened here this afternoon; delegates .being- present: from all parts of the Dominion. The Rev. S. Henderson (CEristchuroh) was elected president for tho ensuing year and Mr K. B. Horssly (Wangamui) vice-president. The Eev. J. Southern (West Coast Mission) was re-elected secretary.' The afternoon session was devoted to routine work, appointment of officers and committees, etc. In the evening the Stationing Committee met The first draft of stations will be read to tho conference to-morrow. A conference s»rmon was delivered by the Rev. B. Dudley. i The conference has a big programme before it, and will not conclude until January, 21st. - - : -'
