SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Warm and humid conditions with light and variable winds, changed to moderate to strong northerly winds and rain in many parts, but particularly on the south and western coasts. The barometer fell to 29.48 in the afternoon at the Bluff, but has already commenced to rise there and the winds are now chancing by, the westward to tho southward with rain. The barometer will probably continue to fall further north but rise again shortly, with ram in most parts of the Dominion, and cooler weather. D c> BATES.
