Buyers who have been passim: through Wellington on their way South trom tile Napior wile expressed the opinion that thero was no difierence in values between the Wellington and Kawko s Hay auctions. One leading Yorkshire operator declared he secured more wool at Napier than he did here, and this wiiiio working at the same limits. Ihe mam point of difference was the much bigger supply of lamb's wool at Napier. It is declared that there must be seen a rise of 10 per cent, at the forthcoming London sales to bring Homo values oii a paritv with those realised at the recent Wellington and Napier auctions. If not wool will bo purchased cheaper in Loudon than it has been on local markets.
