Sir, —Whilst casually looking over papers in the reading room of the local ■library I came across an advertisement in the Wanganui paper of a bread and biscuit company who advertised bread 3d a 21b loaf ordinary price delivered, whilst there is a reduction of id per loaf if coupons are bought. Oan you ■cause inquiries to be made and publish same as to why bread is 3;d per loaf in Wellington, whether coupons or bought or not, or more for booking? i—l am, etc., INQUIRER. [Mr-H. F. Allen, secretary to the Wellington Master Bakers’ Association, informed a “New Zealand Times” representative that the master bakers (both in Wanganui and Palmerston North wero unorganised.
