EXPRESSIONS OF CONDOLENCE AND APPRECIATION.

The remains of the late Sir Frederick Dairley, who was Chief Justice of New South Wales, were interred yesterday in the family vault at Dublin. Colonel Collins represented the Commonwealth. The New South Wales Government sent a wreath. The Prince and . Princess of Wales arid Lord. Crewe (Colonial Secretary) sent messages of condolence with the family. Lord Northoote (late GovernorGeneral of Australia) and others sent expressions of appreciation of Sir Frederick Barley's services to the Empire. A large and representative congregation attended a memorial service at Knightsbridge. SYDNEY, January 9. Services in memory of Sir Frederick Darley in the Anglican Cathedral were laxgely attended. Appreciative references to the deceased were made in trtiher churches.
