STJaniABY AND FOEECAST. Tho barometer "has fallen slightly everywhere. and moderate to strong ■westerly ■winds have prevailed. Tho weather has been generally fine, though changeable. Threatening conditions still exist to tho northward of New Zealand, and a strong easterly gale, with rain, is still not unlikely to tho northward of East Capo and TCawhia.
