A GREAT WIN
WHAT SUTTON SEEDS DID IN ENGLAND.
The competitions for the two 20 guinea cups annually presented by bis Majesty the King for the best root crops 'in the districts of the Royal Bast Berts «md the Royal South Bucks Agricultural Associations have this year evoked increased interest, and the contest in each district has been particularly keen (says the “Mark Lane Express.”) In South Bucks the Royal cup has been won by Mr .John Kinross, of Riding Court, Patohet, Windsor, his crops being entirely the produce of Sutton’s seeds. In East Berks his Majesty’s cup ■ was taken by Mr B. Purser, of Manor Farm, Old Windsor, wlie is also a grower of Sutton's soeds. It is worthy of comment that no fewer than 92„0f these Royal cups, representing a total value of .21932, have been secured by Messrs Sutton’s customers. At - the London, Dairy Show roots grown from Messrs Sutton’s seeds were also eminently successful, for first ■prize for Globe mangels was secured by Sutton’s Prizewinner mangels (50 entries), first prize for swedes (70 entries) was won by Sutton's swedes, and the first ■prize collection of roots (10 entries) was the produce of Sutton's seeds.
