AOTEA BOARD. A meeting of tie Aotea District Maori Land Board was held at tie board's rooms, Wanganui, on Tuesday last. Judge Fisher presided, with Mr H. Ltmdius . and Takarangi Mete Kingi. LEASES. Following applications for consent to lease were considered: Whakaimoka No. 4 to J. R. Boss; approval and endorsement agreed to. Carnarvon subdivisions 6 and *8 of sections 334 and 335 to Join Gexmnell. adjourned. ALIENATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS. Applications for confirmation of alienation: Waipu 4a, 3b, No. 1, mortgage to John Stevenson.—Approved. Applications for recommendation for removal of restrictions on title for sale or mortgage ; Belmont (Johnsonville), block 11, section 8, subdivision 28, to R. Bould. Fresh recommendation to issue, Aorangi 3g, 2b, section 2. Recommendation to issue, Aorangi 3d, sub. 20, subdivision 2. It was decided on the president being satisfied that tho owner bad sufficient other lands for his maintenance that tho_ 87 acres 3 roods 35 perches bo submitted to public competition under certain conditions. Carnarvon, section 337, subdivision c. sale to E. D. Barber, approved conditionally. Transfer: Section 7, block 9, Karioi (Ohotu block), Haora Tatora to Harris Bros. MISCELLANEOUS. It was decided to authorise Messrs Dix and_ Marcia nt to proceed with jubdivisional survey of the Raetihi 3b Block on the south-east portion on lines arranged with Mr H. Lundius. a portion to bo reserved for future disposal. An. application for permission to mortgage vested lands was favourably considered. It was decided that tlio meeting for January 18th bo adjourned to Monday, January 24th, at 10.30 a.m.,, and that applications for gazetting should (owing to the holidays intervening) bo received up to noon to-day, (Saturday, Bth hist.).
