The second play-off gam© was started at 7.45 p.m. Mason adopted his favourite Zukertorfc opening, and got a freer development than he usually does. Both players took advantage of the new time limit rule, and the game was adjourned on the IBth move with equal pieces. Mason has a of attack on the black king’s territory, which is quite defendable, though the position is somnwhat hazardous if not treatea carefully.
