SOUND STALLIONS
SYDNEY HO-YAT, COMES INTO LINE.
The day is fast coming when tho absurd anomaly'—decorating unsound horses—will disappear. P'almerston North has led tho way iu this country.Tho Melbourne Society has done so for somo time, and now tho Sydney Royal Society is taking this very necessary stand. Tho Sydney rule is a vory simplo one, but it can only bo worked where Stato veterinary certificates are in vogue. It is to the effect that a certificate of soundness from tho Department of Agriculture must be produced with every stallion two years and over. Certificates from the veterinary service of this country will bo accepted.
