Work will be oommenced next,week on the Dread-nought battleship, for which the Admiralty has let a contract to the Thanies Ironworks, .Engineering, and Shipbuilding Company. It will afford employment for 2000 extra hands, receiving wages amounting to £3OOO weekly.
